Spiking at the DC...
by Frog ini hit the pillow early last night, first week back at uni is really taking its toll after a month of sleep ins and so on lol!
i must have stirred around 11pm and started reflecting on a list of thoughts that i reserve for quiet moments.
after reading a number of threads on posters that attended the dc this year, it crossed my mind momentarily last weekend that perhaps i might do the same, even if only for a couple of hours on saturday??

What do you miss most about being in the truth ?
by prophecor inevery once in a while, i'll drive thru the blocks of our old territory, remebering the friends, how we would share time in the ministry.
reminiscing about those i left.
every so often, i'll pull out the old photographs.

i miss dry-humping... ...i'll never be able to do it that way again...
tetrapod, wasn't built up sexual tension great? i try to re-live all the frustration by reading nasty little perverted stories online then rubbing against my monitor. oh man, can you get pregnant from that?

A Dream Come True!
by HadEnuf inmy husband was on the phone with the elder who was the po at the time of the great "wedding fiasco".
let's just say my husband initiated the conversation (i can't go into details) and just before he hung up i said something i've been wanting to say for almost 6 years!
i yelled at the top of my lungs: (now mind you; i was only about a foot from the phone) f**k you!!!

hello everyone!
glad to be here. i just want to say that i apologize in advance for anything i might say from here on out. if you disagree with a statement in the future, or somehow without knowing i step on your toes...please refer back to this apology. thanks!
ok, as far as my background...
my parents were witnesses, their parents were witnesses as were pretty much everyone related or anyone i ever came into contact with. my dna is made up of little watchtower quotes and "watching the world" blurbs instead of nucleotides and molecules. i gave talks before i could read and was baptized before i stopped peeing in my bed. i cleaned toilets for jehovah and enjoyed hours of sweaty pantyhose. i walked away a few years ago and never went back. i'm not bitter, but settled with the fact that the watchtower business stole my life. if i could give any advice to a jehovah's witness who was willing to listen, it would be to get out while you still look good. it's easier to make money, date and start a new life while you are still hot.

How many of you consider yourselves Pagan?
by FreedomFrog ini've started on a path that is very comfortable for me almost a year ago.
and now i'm wanting to see how many believe a similar way.. i looked into wiccan, celtic, eclectic and other forms of pagan.
i think that i've settled down into shamanism since that was the path my grandfather went.
-
Ms. Whip
don't hate me because i'm pagan.
actually, i am a closet pagan. i haven't chosen a specific path. i don't really see or talk to dead people (do pagans do that?). i have chosen instead not to make a choice on spirituality. everything i think, feel, believe comes from within myself. i find myself gravitating on a subconcious level to everything mystical, earthy, magickal. i love candles, essential oils, nature, stones. i have a sensitive nature in that i pick up on things, people, animals quite easily.
i love freedom and life. i don't really feel comfortable calling on demons for help. i don't really know if i believe in angels either. i would love to live a totally free life. smoke pot openly, experiment with shrooms and psychedelics, dance nakid under the moon while chanting with other nakid people. work spells, participate in orgies (for spiritual reasons of course). but, like i said...i remain a closet pagan. my jw background, jw family and my fear of what people might think of me...hold me back from finding my true self.
i think pagans, occultists, druggies, folkies and other weirdos are wayyy funner to hang with than "normal" people. i know i'm a newbie here and only have pagan leanings. but, if any of you decide to have a pagan party, could you please count me in? i'll be happy to bake Gingerbread Kama Sutra Cookies for everyone!.

i miss feeling i was special.
i miss getting a "g" on my talk.
i miss walking to the bathroom at the assembly so everyone could look at me.
i miss the compliments on my flowery answers.
i miss showing off my "bible skills" at the door.
i miss picking up a large stack of magazines from the counter to impress the standers by.
i miss "working hard" at the quick builds so the brothers would notice.
i miss closing my eyes tight during the prayer in case anyone was peeking.
i miss rolling up a bunch of ones and stuffing it into the contribution box after waiting for more people to gather round.
i miss underlining everything in my watchtower and writing all the scriptures in the margins in case anyone glanced over.
i miss teasing the single brothers and making them want me.
i miss teasing the married brothers and making them want me.
i miss thinking i sounded good singing kingdom melodies.
i miss feeling my life would some day be perfect if i just did everything right.
most of all. i miss myself.
because "being in the truth" was who and all i was.
